COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed as a continuation of the Growing in Faith/The diakonia™ Program course, Basic New Testament Greek for Everyone. It also can serve as a refresher course for pastors, deacons, and others whose previous experience with New Testament Greek was primarily limited to a summer crash course or one or two regular terms at a college or seminary. This course, which will take place over multiple, five-week sessions, is intended to help participants review the basics of New Testament Greek so that, with the use of aids, they are able actually to work with New Testament Greek. Prerequisites: Knowledge of the Greek alphabet and a previous introductory course in New Testament Greek.
COURSE PURPOSE: To help participants review the basics of New Testament Greek so that they can work with the actual text of the Greek New Testament, using aids as necessary.
