COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to help participants explore and understand the message and theology of the letters of the New Testament ascribed to Paul but possibly or probably written by others (II Thessalonians, Ephesians, Colossians, Titus, I & II Timothy) or ascribed to other leaders of the early church (Hebrews, James, I & II Peter, and Jude). This phenomenon, called pseudepigrapha, will also be examined.

COURSE PURPOSE: To gain insight into how the letters ascribed to Paul and other leaders of the early church but written by others came into existence and to examine their contents and messages.
